How to crochet bell sleeves using a simple stitch combination to create a lace pattern that perfect for your crochet top. First of all, you will need to learn how to crochet this off-shoulder top, then back here to learn how to make bell sleeves.
I love how the look of this top and how this yarn feels on my skin. I did block my work right after I finished it. So it’s become super soft and flowy as you see in the video. Learn how to block your crochet projects.
INSPIRATION
I all about vintage clothing at the moment and so this crochet bell sleeves crop top is just the perfect piece to add to my wardrobe. I am not gonna lie, my inspiration this time came from watching many roller skate videos on Instagram actually 🙂 And if you follow me on Instagram you will see the video of me learning how to roller skate. I plan to be good at it so I can wear this top dancing on my roller skate.
YARN
I use the same yarn for the body part which is Rico Design Fashion Cotton Light and Long Tweed/DK/#3. Color 003. A total of 792 yards. I choose this yarn for the project because I am so in love with pastel color. You can definitely use any DK/#3 yarn for this project or even a totally different yarn weight as long as you measure along with the video tutorial and the written pattern.
I highly recommend you watch this video of how to crochet bell sleeves together with the written pattern. But if you don’t want to pay for the pattern, watch these 2 video tutorials at least twice. I guarantee you will make it.
