DIY 3D Crochet Sunflower hair clips are the project of the day! This is a fun and fast crochet hair deco, accessory. I love to wear flowers on my hair and I hope you will love it too.
You can actually wear this hair clips with Harvest Moon Sweater too!

✢ Bulky weight (yellow) + Aran weight yarn (brown)
✢ Hook 5mm
✢ Yarn needle & Scissors
Abbreviation US terms
ch = chain
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
Tr = Treble crochet
Picot = ch3, sl st at the base of the st (watch the video)
sl st = slip st
beg = beginning
The center of the flower: (brown)
Rnd1 – make a magic ring., ch2 (counts as 1hdc), 6hdc in the magic ring, sl st in 2nd ch from beg, a total of 7hdc.
Rnd2 – ch2 (counts as 1hdc), 1hdc in the same st, 1hdc in next st, 2hdc in next st (2times), 1hdc in next st, 2hdc in next st, 1hdc in next st, sl st in 2nd ch from beg, a total of 11hdc.
Rnd3 – ch2 (counts as 1hdc), 1hdc in next st, 2hdc in next st, 1hdc in next st (4times), 2hdc in next st, 1hdc in next st (2times), 2hdc in next st, sl st in 2nd ch from beg, a total of 14hdc.
Sl st with the yellow color yarn.
The petals: (yellow)
The first layer/round:
*Crochet everything in the same st where you sl st – ch2 (counts as hdc), 2dc, 2Tr, picot st, 2Tr, 2dc, 1hdc, sk next st, sl st in next st. Now you have made 1 petal.
In next st, rep from* above. And make a total 5 petals.
Sl st at the center of the first petal. (watch the video)
