The inspiration + Design
This gorgeous yarn inspires me to create this piece. Eco Merino is one of the BEST bulky weight yarn out there. It is from Cascade yarns. Above all, yellow fresh color brings me so much joy just to wear it, look at it, and feel the soft touch of the natural fiber on my skin.
The time is now. There is no better time than now to make this scarf, since Christmas is coming and everyone is looking for a crochet project to make as a present, so I thought this project would make many people happy, including me.
Texture is QUEEN
Crochet popcorn stitch gives such a beautiful texture to this scarf. I love the 3D looks of the popcorn and how it places along nicely with half double crochet and chains. I would say this is an easy crochet scarf for beginners.
Yarn
I choose to work with Eco Merino Bulky weight/#5 yarn because I love the thickness and I know it will make this piece even more delicious in this Sunflower color. The skein is pretty big. It’s 250 g/478 yards. I used 742 yards in total to make it this length.
