Snow Kiss Sweater ~ Free written pattern Part2

Have You already start this project? I hope You do! For more info about the yarn used and other materials including part1, You can access from here

And here the second part as promised!

The sleeves (You can watch the video tutorial if needed)

Note: “sk 3sts, FPtr in next 3sc, FPtr in 3skipped sc” is now called cable dance sts

We are going to make the sleeves without the sl st at the end of the row to prevent the line like the image below.

I have tried with sl st at the end of the row on one side, and the other side in the spiral movement which I like better.

R.1 – sl st at next to the body line under the arm area, ch2 (count as 1hdc), *1hdc in the next st which is the end of the row, 1hdc in the next st which is the between rows, rep from* across, finish with 58hdc sts in total, no sl st

R.2 – 1hdc at the blue arrow (add stitch marker to remember the beginning st), 1hdc in each st across, total of 58hdc sts, no sl st

R.3 – 1hdc at the first st, 1hdc in each st across, total of 58hdc sts, no sl st

R.4 – 1hdc at the first st, 1hdc in each st until arrive 3sts before the middle line of the shoulder part, sk 3sts, FPtr in next 3sc, FPtr in 3skipped sc (cable dance sts), 1hdc in each st across, no sl st

R.5 – 1hdc at the first st, 1hdc in each st across, no sl st

R.6 – 1hdc at the first st, 1hdc in each st, stop at the 3sts before cable dance sts from R.4, cable dance sts, 1hdc in each of next 6sts, cable dance sts, 1hdc in each st across, no sl st

R.7 – 1hdc at the first st, 1hdc in each st across, no sl st

Rep R.4 – R.7 for the pattern

Make the sleeve as long as You wish it to be. When You got the length of Your desire. Rep R.7 for 3 more rows.

To even up the end of the row, add 1sc in each of the last 2sts (under the armhole, where we start the first row), ch1, cut the yarn.

You then need to repeat the whole steps again in the other side to create another sleeve and You are done.

Now weave in all the excess yarns and try it on 😉
