Heart opening

I open myself to receive

This morning the light shines through my window and I couldn’t help it but be open to receive the blessing from the Divine Universe that speaks to my heart. I receive the blessing. I feel grateful to have the daylight, the sun at this time of the year.

Living in Germany can be very challenging sometimes. Trying to get things done in winter with the limited daylight can be so exhausted. I try not to though because I do not want this energy in my body, isn’t a good feeling to do things in a rush, the feeling of running out of time. I prefer the relaxing energy that moves through me while I casting the spell on my thread, yarn.

My day seems short while the night seems long. It has been many late nights for me these days. Something like 2am or 3 am before I finally put everything down and crawling to bed. In the morning, I feel so tired, especially there wasn’t much light at all at 8am.

My meditation was short this morning. My mind seems to have a lot to say and trying to stop the mind it’s like chasing my own shadow that keeps moving. So I let it talks until it tired and drop away. I did speak to God/Divine asking him/her some questions and I feel like I got an answer already.

Another week before heading to India and hope to have lots of time to meditate and connect more with myself. I feel excited as it will be my solo travel to India without my husband, but my wild soul asks for it and I trust her.

Let’s talk about this Grandmother Moon Cardigan for I know You all are excited about this pattern, don’t You? 🙂

I am working on it right now. It’s such a big piece for me to work but I love it so much. It’s so cozy and warm and soft and feeling like an angel in it.

I will need a couple of the testers on this design, if You are up for it, then comment below, what size do You want to test and how long it will take You?

This one is S/M as it is an oversized cardigan for that it looks big and cozy on me. I am designing for S/M, L/XL but of course, it can be adjusted to a bigger size if needed. This is an intermediate skill.

You will need

Medium weight 4 (S/M about 8skeins), I’m working with Lion Brand Wool-Ease 180meters

Hook 6mm

Yarn needle, scissors

I think for size L/XL will need about 10skeins of the same yarn I used. More info about the pattern and gauge swatch will be sending out with the written pattern for the testers.

I wish You all a wonderful day and if You want to hear my voice with my blessing to You 😉 You can watch my video below.

I also uploaded a new video sharing about my thoughts and my love for my new hooks.

See You later 🙂

Maya

  1. I love your designs, such a clever lady. I know what your mean about the darkness of the winter, I’m from Chile in South America and every winter I struggle with it but crochet is the only think that helps me.
I would have loved to help you testing the pattern but I don’t have that much wool handy in that exact thickness at the moment. Maybe next time xx

  2. I completely forgot to mention that I live in England now, reason why I struggle with the long English winters!!
I would love to help you testing next time. I’m off to your Facebook group now to join!!

  3. Hello, I love your designs and your creativity. I would love to be one of your testers for this pattern. I would probably need to do the L/XL for myself. I’d need to order the yarn so I’d say I’d need 3 weeks to complete the project, but possibly a little less.
I live in France, by the way.
    Bright blessings 💚

  4. I would love to be a tester, this piece really speaks to me and I know I’m meant to create it one way or another 💕 I’d like to test a size medium. Xx

  5. Hi I would love to test your pattern in a size L/XL, all of your work is beautiful. I work throughout the week and have three little blessing so it may take me a few weeks to complete the pattern.

  6. Hi Maya! I’d love to be a tester for this though I’ve just started a poncho that I really want to finish first. I think once I’ve found the yarn for this sweater in France, I’d be able to finish it in 2 weeks. I think I’ll love this pattern!

  7. I just read your post in the Facebook group I would really love to test this pattern. I’m sure I can do it Five Days. I would like to test L/XL

I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Reasonably unusual.
